About Chuckle
Founded by Sara Christie and Jeff Reynolds, Chuckle Productions is a not-for-profit organisation established in October
2009. Sadly Jeff passed away in April 2014, but he leaves us the wonderful legacy of his songs, and is forever in our
hearts and chuckles.
The idea for the company was created when Sara met Jeff and asked, “You couldn’t just write me a few children’s songs
could you?” and so Chuckle began and the rest is history so to speak. With the recent addition of Sharon Hodson as Director,
and with a lot of belief from others and especially from you as families, Chuckle has grown from strength to strength
evolving to where it is now.”
So what is Chuckle all about? We believe that Chuckle should be lots of fun whilst being a great learning opportunity that
embeds all areas of child development (fine and gross motor, communication, cognitive and social skills) into every aspect
of our work, whilst also supporting a child’s first and forever teachers (that’s you as parents).
We want to spark the imagination, inspire and ultimately aid learning through having lots and lots of fun! Chuckle has an
amazing professional team who truly want to help whenever we can. We understand life doesn’t always go to plan and we
might not have all the answers straight away, but we will certainly do our very best to support children and families to
believe in themselves and their abilities and help with any barriers that they may face.
Feedback from our children and young people that access Chuckle, whether as an Independent hobby, educationally or in
one of our outreach posts that they have fun in a place where they feel safe and not judged
Mission Statement
We are dedicated to inspiring lifelong learning, reducing isolation,
empowering families and helping children to gain a brighter future.
Our Vision
Families are at the heart of Chuckle Productions, we give children the freedom
to explore their creativity in a welcoming and stimulating environment. We
believe that the earlier the child is introduced to learning in a fun, interactive
and multisensory way, the greater the likelihood a child will be secure in their
development.
All age groups are catered for from babies to teenagers. Workshops and
activities offered, range from exploring music, dance, song writing or film
making, to art and design and baking, education and assessment.
Our aim is to connect with and empower families from all walks of life and
encourage a child’s natural desire to be creative and curious, therefore
developing a greater capacity for learning.
The Chuckle House facility in Stone (right) has been borne out of this vision
and comes equipped with studio equipment, rehearsal room, and creative
rooms, offering a fun, safe space for children to play and learn.
